Senior Helpers - South OC is currently seeking Overnight Caregivers for immediate hire in Irvine, California. We are seeking candidates who are HCA approved already.

Compensation & Benefits :

Competitive salary of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :

• Provide thoughtful and compassionate care to our senior clients during overnight shifts
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Provide medication reminders for clients as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and dishes
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other caregivers to ensure the best possible care
• Document all care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate parties

Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Home Care Aide (HCA) Certification preferred
• Previous caregiving experience, preferably in a home care setting
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
