Electrical / Low Voltage Apprentice

MCS is hiring for a Electrical / Low Voltage Apprentice in Tyndall AFB, FL .

This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.

The Electrical / Low Voltage Apprentice must demonstrate the ability to follow directions while being highly motivated.

The Electrical / Low Voltage Apprentice  will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.

It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations.

Typical duties include :

• Installing and terminating all Low Voltage cabling.
• Terminating, testing, and labeling end-user devices.
• Comm room build-out.
• Utilizing industry standards and company-approved installation methods and techniques.
• Ensuring all work complies with applicable AHJ codes and industry standards.
• Pulling fiber thru conduit, man / hand hole systems.
• Installing conduits in trenches, hand / utility holes, and buildings.
• Digging, Trenching for cabling.
• Maintaining open communication with direct superior ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations.
