Accounting Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Glendale, Arizona. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting practices. The role offers a balanced hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities :
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Handle payroll operations through Paylocity, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are precise and up-to-date.
Oversee billing functions, including invoicing and resolving discrepancies.
Support accounts receivable activities to ensure smooth collection processes.
Prepare and maintain financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline accounting workflows.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Address and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Requirements :
Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll management.
Proficiency in using Paylocity for payroll operations or other payroll systems.
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
Ability to conduct accurate account reconciliations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
