About The Position

License : Valid RN license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS required, not expiring within 30 days of start

Must-Have :

ICU nurses willing to work in high acuity step down settings

Experience in cardiac step down and post-operative care

Skills in titrating insulin, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips

Comfortable managing tracheostomies and arterial lines

Ability to work with patient ratios of 1 : 3 or 1 : 4

Description :

Looking for experienced registered nurses to work in a step-down unit.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a step down environment.

Experience should include managing cardiac drips and post-operative patients.

Nurses will be expected to float within their scope of care.

Patients may present with diagnoses such as severe respiratory conditions, unstable cardiac rhythms, and sepsis.

Unit has a daily census of 27 patients with a focus on comprehensive care.

Interdisciplinary support will be available, including respiratory services and physical therapy.

Full contract length is required.

No locals or block requests will be accepted.

Travelers must complete the entire duration of the contract.
