Project Accountant Opportunity

Purpose
Oversee and report on project cost accounting in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction : Receive guidance relating to key objectives and apply extensive knowledge of principles and practices. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.
At the Operational and Company Level : Oversee project cost accounting, act as a liaison between operations and corporate accounting, and review performance metrics.
Do the Work : Identify and resolve project issues, reconcile and analyze project cost reports, assist with account reports, coordinate with project billers, manage budgets, and perform collections and reporting.
Success Metrics and Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively, manage confidential information, and prioritize tasks. Strong communication skills, work ethic, self-reliance, and data analysis skills.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent experience. Relevant certification preferred. Seven or more years of corporate accounting experience. Prior experience in architecture, engineering, and construction accounting preferred. Thorough knowledge of GAAP and experience with ERP systems.
