About the Role :

The Charge Capture and Reconciliation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing processes within the healthcare services industry. This position is responsible for capturing all relevant charges for services rendered and reconciling discrepancies to optimize revenue cycle management. The specialist will work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure that all charges are accurately documented and submitted in a timely manner. By maintaining meticulous records and conducting thorough audits, the specialist will help to minimize revenue loss and enhance financial performance. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare organization, ensuring that patients receive the care they need while the organization remains financially viable.

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time, Charge Capture & Reconciliation Specialist at our Allied Digestive Health Corporate Office in West Long Branch, NJ.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Finance, or a related field or Associate's Degree with equivalent experience
• Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (CPC, CRC, CCS, or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of experience in charge capture, billing, or revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of medical coding and billing regulations.
• Strong experience and knowledge with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables / v-lookup)

Additionally, problem-solving skills will be utilized to address any issues that arise during the reconciliation process. Preferred skills, such as certification in medical billing, will further enhance the specialist's ability to navigate complex billing scenarios and improve overall revenue cycle performance.
