Job Summary :
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the implementation of the physician's order for physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist should provide all necessary aspects of physical therapy within an interdisciplinary environment in order to facilitate the return of the patient to as independent and safe of lifestyle as possible. The Physical Therapist must utilize a growth and development knowledge base in the care of children (pediatric), adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his / her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed.

Qualifications : Education / Skills
The incumbent shall, at a minimum, be a graduate of a four year bachelor’s degree approved
Physical Therapy Program. Acute Care Therapists and Therapy Assistants and will complete a minimum of 2 hours of stroke education annually
Work Experience :
May be a recent graduate.
Certification / Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
