Construction Superintendent

Job Description

Our expanding business is seeking a full-time on-site Construction Project Superintendent to oversee all phases of assigned construction projects. We are seeking someone with 5-20+ years’ experience with a hard-bid general contracting company. Commercial experience is a must, preferably with a background working on Federal projects in the Healthcare arena. Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs is a plus. Compensation and project assignment are relative based on experience and personal capability.

Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

• Safety and Quality Control for assigned projects
• Scheduling and coordinating each project activities according to project schedule
• Manage and coordinate all subcontractor and supplier scopes of work
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Ability to effectively manage, supervise, and coordinate manpower, material, equipment and subcontractors
• Coordinate & lead all site safety and quality inspections
• Hold weekly coordination meetings with owners and subcontractors
• Create daily reports with Microsoft Office
• Order, monitor, and coordinate materials deliveries
• Project start up, project completion, and entire close-out process

Education :

High school or equivalent (Required)

Engineering or Construction Management degree is a bonus

License / Certification :

OSHA 30 (required)

QC Training (USACE Preferred)
