Environmental Technician

Are you passionate about environmental protection and sustainability? Join our team as an Environmental Technician, where you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing pollution issues in our water systems and other environments. Your responsibilities will include :

• Collecting water samples from various sources, including raw, semi-processed, and processed water, to evaluate pollution levels.
• Monitoring air quality and sampling during asbestos, lead, and mold abatement projects.
• Installing and maintaining data collection equipment to ensure accurate monitoring.
• Conducting bacteriological and other tests to support environmental research and pollution control efforts.
• Operating both light and heavy equipment, such as pumps, vacuum equipment, oil spill booms, generators, and bobcats.
• Performing basic calculations and managing data entry tasks efficiently.
• Preparing essential reports and maintaining detailed records as required.
• Setting up equipment to monitor and collect pollutants from sites, including smokestacks, manufacturing plants, or mechanical equipment.
