Mortgage Underwriter

A company is looking for a Scenario Support professional to assist the Operations Team with loan restructuring and underwriting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze bank statements and review various loan types for compliance and investor guidelines

Respond to scenario inquiries from Loan Officers and provide accurate income calculations

Recommend alternative loan structures and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Five or more years of mortgage underwriting experience

Current experience underwriting VA mortgage loans

Direct Endorsement (DE) and / or LAPP / SAR certifications

Strong knowledge of property and credit underwriting requirements for various loan programs
