  • Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shifts : 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2310 - $2470\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license in Colorado or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred\n
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification\n
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN certification\n
  • Ability to float to other healthcare units or facilities within 60 miles as needed\n

    • \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Assess and monitor patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs in a clinical setting\n
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection\n
  • Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights in the Labor & Delivery environment\n
  • Provide patient and family education, evaluating the effectiveness of teaching\n
  • Deliver compassionate, relationship-based nursing care that respects patient preferences and values\n
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to non-RN healthcare personnel according to policy\n
  • Serve as a professional role model and mentor for new staff and nursing students\n
  • Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research activities\n
  • Maintain accurate professional records and pursue ongoing nursing education\n
