Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range : $2,090 - $2,140 per week (estimated) ICU RN Job Details Location : Fort Wayne, Indiana (46805) – Indiana healthcare jobs Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 12 beds Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026) Shift : 3pm – 3am, three 12-hour night shifts per week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Employment Type : Travel nursing contract Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 or 1 : 3 Dress Code : Caribbean blue scrubs Orientation : 7 days mandatory (Mon–Fri week 1, Mon–Tues week 2, 8-hour days) ICU RN Qualifications Active Indiana or compact RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Indiana Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in ICU BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Proficient in ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and psychiatric patient care Experience with EPIC charting, Pyxis medication administration, ventilators, Bipap, EV 100s Ability to float to other critical care units as needed ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in the ICU, including medical, surgical, and psychiatric cases Manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and advanced monitoring equipment Document patient care using EPIC and administer medications via Pyxis Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Participate in unit-specific training and complete all required orientation days Float to other critical care units as needed Explore Fort Wayne’s friendly neighborhoods, scenic riverfront, and lively downtown while advancing your nursing career.
