Job Description

Sun Country Landscaping Inc. is hiring experienced landscape labor workers. The right crew member will have verifiable landscape experience. We offer :

ABOUT YOU

Knowledge and proper use of power and hand tools Knowledge and proper use of lawn mowing and edging equipment.

• Attach wires from planted trees to support stakes.
• Care for natural turf fields, making sure the underlying soil has the required composition to allow proper drainage and to support the grasses used on the fields.
• Gather and remove litter.
• Rake, mulch, and compost leaves.
• Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers.
• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, or other grounds features.
• Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage.

Ability to operate power mowers, chainsaws, pole pruners, blowers, weed eaters, chippers, other equipment and vehicles

Requirements

Experience in landscape maintenance

Ability to lift 50 lbs.(Equipment, tools, and supplies may need to be lifted, carried and / or pushed) Ability to work in adverse conditions such as excessive heat.

Ability to perform extended walking, standing, kneeling and / or squatting

Meets physical requirements of operating equipment and is capable of working outdoors with intense heat / cold conditions, loud noises, etc.

Individuals who are bilingual with English, Spanish would be great but not required. MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE
