Job descriptionLead the design, setup, and launch of a new production line, including equipment specification, process flow, and staffing. Oversee automated manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability. Integrate advanced manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, CAD / CAM, and other digital manufacturing tools. Apply marine and naval engineering manufacturing expertise to ensure compliance with industry and defense standards. Collaborate with engineering teams on design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA). Serve as project manager, overseeing schedules, budgets, and deliverables for manufacturing initiatives. Implement and maintain precision manufacturing processes suitable for shipbuilding or marine-related applications. Mentor and supervise production staff, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain at least an Interim Secret clearance (active clearance preferred). 10+ years of experience in production / manufacturing, with direct involvement in launching new production lines. Strong background in automated manufacturing and assembly processes. Hands-on experience with 3D printing, CAD / CAM systems, and digital manufacturing integration. Experience in marine, naval, or shipbuilding precision manufacturing. Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management and cross-functional coordination. Solid project management experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Active Secret or higher DoD security clearance. Direct experience in DoD or defense-related manufacturing programs. Knowledge of relevant MIL-SPEC, marine classification, and naval standards.

The Amatriot Group is seeking a highly experienced Production / Manufacturing SME with 10+ years of proven industry experience to lead the development, optimization, and execution of advanced manufacturing processes in support of marine and naval engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of standing up production lines from scratch, driving automation in manufacturing, and leading high-performance teams in precision production environments.
