As a Security Officer - Patrol Logistics in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards as observed during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to provide assistance and support as needed.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and / or verifying credentials as required by site-specific policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
