Senior Accountant Consultant

Vaco Atlanta is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant Consultant for a 5+ month project. This role offers hybrid flexibility in the Alpharetta, GA area.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with IFRS / GAAP.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations

Ensure accurate classification of capital vs. operating expenses.

Calculate and post depreciation entries and manage asset retirements or disposals.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting standards.

Support the implementation of system improvements and automation related to fixed asset and CAPEX tracking.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of accounting experience

Strong understanding of IFRS / GAAP and capital accounting principles.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze large datasets.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
