Demonstrated technical and mechanical aptitude paired with effective leadership. Experience in a manufacturing environment and excellent communication skills. Hands-on proficiency with : Labor management systems Continuous improvement and Kaizen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Production optimization Lean manufacturing principles Coaching and mentoring ISO 9001 systems and certification environments Scheduling High-level operations analysis Machine setups for production runs Budgeting and forecasting Plastic extrusion Bonus experience : extrusion, plastic bag converting, or paper converting exposure is a plus. 9 paid holidays Benefits within 1 month of hire 401K with partial match after 90 days After 6 months : paid vacation days Monthly incentive plan

Step into a pivotal role where you guide daily production, develop frontline leaders, and fine-tune processes across a high-volume manufacturing plant. As the Associate Plant Operations Manager, you’ll be the right hand to the Plant Manager—balancing people leadership with hands-on problem solving to keep lines running safely, efficiently, and on spec.
A Day in the Role
- Walk the floor, engage crews, and set priorities for the shift.
- Coach supervisors and operators while reinforcing SOP discipline and ISO 9001 standards.
- Leverage labor management systems and scheduling to align staffing with demand.
- Drive Kaizen events, apply Lean principles, and remove bottlenecks to optimize throughput.
- Oversee machine setups for production runs and validate first-piece quality.
- Analyze operational data, forecast needs, and support budgeting decisions.
