ROLE OVERVIEW :
The company is seeking a seasoned Inventory Control Technician III to support its supply chain operations at one of the company’s hospitals. This role requires a hands-on professional with deep experience in Lawson supply chain systems and, ideally, Workday, who can manage complex inventory workflows, coordinate with clinical staff, and ensure the integrity of supply operations across multiple departmentsThe ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment, excels at communication, and brings both technical proficiency and operational insight to the tableKEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform and oversee all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, stocking, replenishment, and cycle countingMaintain perpetual inventory accuracy using Lawson (required) and support integration or testing within Workday (preferred)Conduct regular audits and participate in the annual physical inventory processServe as a liaison between Supply Chain, Clinical, and Purchasing teams to resolve product or backorder issuesSupport product conversions, vendor returns, and invoice resolutionCoordinate and document product trials and ensure compliance with supply contractsProvide data and insight to support forecasting, cost reduction, and utilization initiativesTrain or mentor new staff on inventory control procedures and handheld technology systemsQUALIFICATIONS :
Required Qualifications :
Lawson Supply Chain System experience (required)Workday experience (strongly preferred) — candidates with both Lawson and Workday expertise will be prioritizedDemonstrated knowledge of supply chain operations within a hospital settingProficient in handheld or mobile inventory management technologyExcellent communication and teamwork skills; must be comfortable engaging with clinicians and physiciansStrong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up abilitiesAbility to work fully on-site in Auburn, CAPreferred Qualifications :
