Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Stepdown Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 04 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel RN Position Job Notes : Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - Stepdown Job Details : - Work as an experienced stepdown nurse with training responsibilities for current staff - Must be willing and able to float to Med / Surg Tele when needed - On-call duties required - Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exceptions - Must live outside of 100-mile radius from facility - Maximum of 3 requested time off days per 13-week contract - Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours not applying to cancelled shifts - Responsible for mentoring and training current nursing staff - Provide direct patient care in stepdown unit setting - Float between stepdown and medical / surgical telemetry units as needed Facility : This regional medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare provider offering specialized stepdown and telemetry services.
