Team Overview :

The Intelligent Foundations and Experiences (IFX) team leads our AI vision at Capital One, collaborating closely across the organization. We focus on pushing the boundaries of AI science and building proprietary solutions that add value for millions of customers. Our models enable different teams within Capital One to enhance their offerings responsibly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work with a collaborative team of engineers, scientists, and product managers to develop AI-powered products that transform customer interactions and team workflows.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components, including model training, inference methods, and system governance.
• Utilize a wide array of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, and PyTorch.
• Innovate LLM optimization techniques to enhance large-scale AI system performance—including scalability and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to the strategic vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems at Capital One.

This role is located at our offices in Cambridge, MA; McLean, VA; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; and San Jose, CA, with competitive salaries ranging from $158,600 to $197,400 based on location and qualifications.
