Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Operating Room (OR) RN 13-Week Contract

Location : Kalispell, MT

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM

Position Details :

  • Facility Information : 16 total OR beds (10 in Main OR, 6 in OR North)
  • Patient Population : Peds to adults (peds experience preferred)
  • Case Types : Peds Neuro, Trauma, Heart & Vascular, Surgical Oncology, General, Urology, GYN, Neuro, Craniotomies, Thoracic, Robotics (Davinci XI), ENT, Ortho / Ortho Trauma, Podiatry, Dental, Plastics, Breast Surgery
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 1
  • Floating : Not required
  • Charting System : Meditech (preferred)

Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of OR experience (No first-time travelers)
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS (Required); CNOR, PALS (Preferred)
  • Skills : Circulating experience required; ability to scrub preferred; IV starts preferred; experience with robotic-assisted procedures required

    • Unit Support :

  • Charge Nurse (does not take an assignment)
  • CSTs, FAs, Surgeons, Anesthesia, RNs
  • Pyxis for medication dispensing
