Pay Rate : $24 / hour

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy GIS Technician to support two dynamic engineering teams. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational GIS training and a passion for data integrity and visualization. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining GIS database accuracy and contributing to the development of Power BI dashboards that support engineering decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• GIS Database Support (75%) : Assist in managing, updating, and validating GIS spatial and tabular data integrity across multiple engineering projects.Perform data entry, editing, and quality control using ESRI tools.Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure geospatial data meets project requirements.
• Power BI Dashboard Development (25%) : Support the creation and maintenance of interactive dashboards using Power BI.Integrate GIS data into visual reports to support engineering analysis and in identifying trends and insights through data visualization.
• General Duties : Attend training sessions to enhance proficiency in GIS and data visualization tools.Document workflows and maintain metadata for datasets.Provide technical support to GIS Analysts and engineers as needed.
