Position Summary
We are looking for a Data Entry Parts Specialist to support our construction operations by maintaining accurate and up-to-date parts and inventory records. This role is responsible for entering data into our systems, tracking construction equipment parts, and ensuring information is accurate for purchasing, shop, and field operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, and experience working with construction equipment or parts inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and maintain part numbers, descriptions, pricing, and vendor details in the inventory management system.
Verify data accuracy against purchase orders, invoices, and vendor catalogs.
Track and update inventory levels for construction equipment parts and materials.
Support purchasing and field teams by providing accurate part availability information.
Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Generate reports on usage, availability, and inventory status.
Work closely with warehouse staff, mechanics, and superintendents to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized records of part transactions, receipts, and transfers.
Qualifications
1–2 years of data entry, inventory control, or construction equipment parts experience.
Familiarity with construction equipment, tools, and materials a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong typing accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
