Position Description

STEM School Highlands Ranch is seeking a temporary employee to provide dedicated individual student support . This position is week-to-week and may be up to 40 hours per week, depending on ongoing need.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide attentive, compassionate individual support to ensure student safety and engagement throughout the school day.
• Support the student's participation in classroom activities, transitions, and common areas.
• Collaborate with teachers, student support teams, and administrators.
• Follow school policies, confidentiality standards, and directions from staff.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support school operations.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Strong commitment to student learning and development

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsive and proactive communication with students and faculty

Experience working in a diverse, fast-paced, and collaborative environment preferred

Physical Requirements :

Occasional lifting of 5 to 50 pounds

Ability to stand / walk for up to 90 minutes

Ability to run short distances if necessary

Frequent bending, stooping, standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and sitting

Schedule :

Day shift

Monday to Friday

This position will be open until filled, but will not be open past : December 31, 2025
