Description
Alliant Insurance Foundation's Southern University initiative includes a Risk Management and Insurance degree program, which was built upon the Louisiana Department of Insurance's Risk Management and Insurance concentration program in SU's College of Business. This is the first such program at a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). Through a grant funded by Alliant Insurance Foundation, students enrolled in the program can obtain scholarships to cover tuition as well as paid fellowship opportunities over three summers of their college careers. Additionally, students will work closely with SU College of Business and Alliant Insurance Foundation to obtain job opportunities upon graduation.
