Position Overview

The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing CASA of Southeast Texas’s marketing, communications, and fundraising event initiatives. This position ensures consistent branding, strengthens CASA’s visibility in the community, engages volunteers and donors, and supports fundraising success through well-organized events and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications plan that aligns with CASA’s mission and fundraising goals.
• Manage CASA’s website and social media channels, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and mission-focused.
• Design digital and print collateral including flyers, invitations, newsletters, and event signage.
• Create and distribute monthly e-newsletters and donor / volunteer communications.
• Work with media partners to coordinate press releases, public service announcements, and interviews.
• Track analytics (social media, email campaigns, website traffic) and adjust strategies for maximum engagement.

National and state criminal and sexual offender record checks via Fingerprint-Based Background Check (FBC), Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry via ABCS, and Social Security number verifications will be conducted on all employees prior to employment and periodically as required by Texas / National CASA.
