Schedule / Hours :
This is an In-Person Full-Time Position consisting of 5 8-hour night shifts with limited weekend work. The 2nd Shift Plant Supervisor position is expected to work weekly from Monday to Friday from 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm. The 3rd Shift Plant Supervisor position is expected to work weekly from Monday to Friday from 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am.
JOB SUMMARY
- Oversee the all areas of plant operations during off shift to include : Material movement, Transformation, Preparation, Maintenance (Production and Facilities)
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Plant Manager (PM) and set strategic daily goals and visionProvide input to PM on employees and give suggestions for improvementPerform safety checks on machines / building and report discrepanciesEnsure PRI company policies are being followedSupport all ISO practices throughout the plantFoster an environment with high quality standardsReport on machine down timeTake proactive leadership role in emergent situations and keep PM informed through situation reports as necessaryMaintain high housekeeping standardsEnforce breaks and meal timesMaintain high sense of urgency to maximize efficiency of resourcesEnsure the safe and efficient use of warehouse equipment and facilitiesHandle discipline and participate in all aspects of talent management (hiring, termination)Identify opportunities to reduce costs and chargesMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and securityOrient, coach, motivate and communicate with employeesPerforms other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience as a supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing companyHigh School Diploma or equivalentManufacturing (3 Yrs.)Warehouse Supervising Experience (3 Yrs.)PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
