Cema Supply Chain Program Lead Ii

The CEMA Supply Chain Program Lead II (SCPL II) is the focal point for all Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) supply chain activities in Austin Texas. ACES Specializes in next-generation dispenser systems and countermeasures to help aircraft answer evolving IR and RF threats providing layers of defense.

The SCPL II will lead a team of planners by developing and implementing long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address schedule execution with a priority on material requirements and demand management. Working closely with the operations team the SCPL II will focus on CCA production, capacity matters and constraints that impact service to the customer in support of business growth and sustainment.

The Program Lead will mentor and direct the planning team in support of ACES programs, supporting execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches. The SCPL II monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. The SCPL II optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. Planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The Program Lead ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract / internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals.

This position requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of procurement and planning process steps; the individual must be capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure success for the program. Candidate will be expected to train and mentor junior level supply chain team members. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan, and accomplish department objectives with a wide degree of creativity, continuous improvement approach, and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of duties. The SCPL II will lead, develop, and implement supply chain strategies for the program / product line. This role is a management position and will work with counterparts across the CEMA Business Area members across the enterprise to drive success.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
  • Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
  • Sales & Operations Experience / knowledge
  • Inventory / stockroom management
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Create presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customers
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in MRP, especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and ECOs. The individual would be proactive to reduce exceptions and may influence system change requests to the MRP system. Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Higher level education completed or in process
  • APICS certified
  • Ability to implement Lean & Six Sigma improvements
  • Root Cause / Corrective Action Skills
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in two or more of the following : Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, and Rough Cut Capacity Planning or Production Planning
  • Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range : $99410 - $168997

    Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
