About The Position

General job duties.  Types of procedures required.

Care of the laboring, pre-term, post partum OB patient and newborns.  Vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation

Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

EPIC documentation.  Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, GE Corometric fetal monitoring

Required skills and minimum years of experience.

Minimum 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery, cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation.

Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

IN RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP

Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required?  If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
