Software Engineer
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the Greater Rockford, IL area. Candidates should have expertise in C, C++, and MATLAB programming languages.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a strong background in software development (experience within the Aerospace and Aviation industry is a plus).
Experience with Simulink, SQL programming, Python, LabVIEW, Speedgoat, and hands-on circuitry is highly desirable.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions for our products.
- Develops software solutions by analyzing system flow, data usage, and working processes.
- Utilize C, C++, and MATLAB programming languages to create efficient and reliable software modules.
- Contribute to the development of simulation models using Simulink for system analysis and optimization.
- Design and maintain databases using SQL for data storage and retrieval.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in C, C++, and MATLAB programming languages.
- Familiarity with the Aerospace and Aviation industry is a plus.
- Experience with Simulink, SQL programming, Python, LabVIEW, and Speedgoat hardware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
