About the Role

As an Underwriter on the Fleet team at Nirvana, you will evaluate new and renewal commercial auto policies in the fleet space as we expand our portfolio. As you partner closely with our Business Development team, agents, and brokers, your strong collaboration skills and critical thinking will help you develop strong relationships and make sound underwriting decisions. You will be able to leverage your insurance acumen, while identifying creative solutions as we build our Underwriting processes in a start up environment.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and price new and renewal commercial Transportation business (10+ units) using underwriting best practices coupled with modern tools and insights
• Work with multiple accounts simultaneously in a fast paced environment
• Work closely with key agency partners to achieve production and profitability goals
• Be a foundational driver of results
• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering groups on emerging segments and territories as we scale
