This position is part of Turner's Advanced Technology Group, focusing on Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, Industrial / Manufacturing, and EV / Battery / Renewables sectors. It can be performed remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Position Description

Responsible for managing the preconstruction process from project inception through start of construction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage Business Unit Estimating department and functions during preconstruction.
  • Develop client relationships and participate in business development.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents; inform senior management of risks.
  • Manage lump sum bids and review for approval.
  • Conduct market research and develop cost estimates and trends.
  • Oversee Value Engineering and collaborate on proposals and client presentations.
  • Coordinate procurement schedules, evaluate proposals, and support project launch activities.
  • Lead constructability reviews and develop schedule pull plans.
  • Prepare variance analysis and manage budget control reports.
  • Support Target Value Design processes and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 10 years of construction experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with various building types; thorough understanding of construction documents.
  • Strong analytical, management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regional market trends and project management.
  • Physical Demands & Work Environment

    Includes sitting, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing, computer use, occasional lifting, and travel to sites. Work environment varies from office to construction sites, with associated risks and safety requirements.
