Location : Salem, OR 97304

Shifts are determined by call volume trends and operational needs. This position supports a 24 / 7 Crisis & Information Hotline program that provides immediate crisis intervention, resources, and support to individuals in urgent need.

Shifts may include Day, Swing, Night, and Weekend / Holiday coverage. This is a 24 / 7 program and coverage across all hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour crisis intervention, suicide prevention, risk assessment, and brief supportive counseling over the phone to clients experiencing emotional distress, suicidal ideation, and / or seeking information on available mental health services.
• Answer all calls made to 988 in Marion and Polk counties and act as after-hours crisis support for multiple community partners.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment screening, safety planning, follow-up support, and advocacy based on client needs.
• Coordinate and connect clients to critical mental health resources and services.
