Humana is committed to language accessibility-and we're seeking a product manager to lead the development of translation and interpretation capabilities across marketing communications. As Senior Associate / Product Manager - Inclusive Communications Capabilities (Translations), you will define tools and workflows that ensure multilingual content and member interactions are accurate, timely, compliant and delivered in the language of choice for our customers.
This role is central to enabling scalable, inclusive communications that support health equity, regulatory compliance, and member trust across digital, print, and telephonic channels.
This role supports the development of translation and interpretation capabilities, ensuring that member communications are available in the preferred language and format. You'll collaborate with compliance, operations, vendor, and campaign teams to ensure language access standards-such as CMS guidelines and state-specific requirements-are consistently met. You'll also help ensure that multilingual content is integrated into enterprise workflows and platforms, supporting timely, accurate, and culturally relevant communications across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Capability Ownership & Roadmap Development
Define and evolve product requirements for translation workflows, vendor integrations, and interpretation services
Ensure multilingual capabilities support delivery in members' preferred language, in alignment with CMS language access requirements and enterprise standards
Partner with platform and operations teams to enable automation, tracking, and fulfillment of translation and interpretation requests
Embed language access requirements into enterprise systems and communication design standards
Embedded Campaign Support & Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with campaign and content teams to proactively identify materials requiring translation and facilitate timely conversion and distribution
Support integration of multilingual content into digital, print, and telephonic workflows
Monitor fulfillment timelines and quality, implementing feedback loops to ensure member needs are met and exceeded
Coordinate with compliance and marketing teams to ensure translated materials align with campaign goals and regulatory expectations
Compliance & Audit Readiness
Ensure all language access solutions comply with CMS requirements and enterprise accessibility standards
Maintain rigorous documentation and transparent records of translation and interpretation activities to support audit readiness and regulatory reviews
Support enterprise reporting needs, including tracking of translated communications and language preference fulfillment
AI Enablement & Innovation
Evaluate GenAI tools for automated translation and interpretation, ensuring outputs meet linguistic, cultural, and compliance standards
Support compliance with automated risk detection and sentiment analysis to identify potential issues and improve member experience
Stay informed on emerging technologies in intelligent automation, multilingual content management, and inclusive design
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
Monitor vendor performance, translation accuracy, interpretation service quality, and member satisfaction
Leverage feedback loops and performance data to drive continuous improvement in language access capabilities
Advise on best practices for multilingual communications and foster a culture of inclusion across teams

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Communications, Linguistics, Information Systems, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in translation services, compliance, or marketing operations
Familiarity with CMS language access standards and multilingual content workflows
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to translation management systems and vendor coordination
Understanding of inclusive design principles and multilingual accessibility technologies
Experience with scaled agile frameworks and cross-functional product collaboration
Travel : While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,000 - $143,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
