About the Role :

Aquila Technology is seeking a System Engineer to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The Systems Engineer is responsible for the development and testing of complex systems; making sure the various components and subsystems work together to accomplish the missions. Activities include trade studies, requirements flow down, architecture development, system modeling, and functional and environmental testing from the component to systems level.

There are a few requirements for the position :

• Must be a U.S Citizen- Must have an interim / Active Secret Clearance (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
• Must be within 100 miles of worksite (Lexington, MA)

Work location : Hybrid - This position will be hybrid. It will be 3-5 days onsite; depending on the nature of the workload. Candidate must be local to the MA area for start of this assignment.

Interview process : Initial phone screen with hiring manager. If candidate advances to next round, larger interview with technical team
