Description :

This position involves working in a Surgical ICU.

The nurse patient ratio is 1-2.

Common diagnoses and treatments include endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid endarterectomy, colon resection, and failure to extubate.

The unit consists of 12 beds.

Charting is done using Epic.

Scrub colors are navy blue.

Special procedures include intrabdominal pressure monitoring and management of open abdomen with an abdominal drain.

The hours per week are 36.
