DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Casework Supervisor, you must have a thorough knowledge of laws and regulations which govern child welfare services and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and agency policies and procedures. You will be expected to ensure that all required documents are completed in a timely manner and that all eligible services are provided to clients. This position reviews and schedules all petitions for Court Reviews. You will have the opportunity to oversee the training and approval of new foster parents, foster home evaluations and re-evaluations; assuring foster families meet all state and federal requirements and regulations. Additional duties include maintaining reports, statistics, data and summaries to assist in the preparation of an appropriate budget that meets the needs of the agency.
Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; orAny equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.Other Requirements :
This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.You must meet the PA residency requirement . This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
