Benefit Specialist

Best Line Equipment is seeking a full-time Benefit Specialist to work in our State College Business office.  The Benefit Specialist position is a full-time, on-site, salaried role.

Role Summary :

The Benefit Specialist  is responsible for managing and administering employee benefits and retirement programs. Additionally, the Benefit Specialist provides daily support to the Human Resources Office, ensuring the effective operation of HR functions. The position demands meticulous attention to detail in benefits enrollment, compliance, and employee support, all critical for smooth and efficient benefits administration.  This office-based position involves frequent sitting or standing, handling office equipment, and regular communication with staff. Occasional travel may be required, and candidates must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds

Primary Responsibilities :

• Oversight of employee benefits including : self-insured medical and dental, fully-insured vision and life insurance, as well as disability and 401K plans.
• Administering paperwork related to leave-of-absence and disability, while maintain strict compliance with employment laws and company policy.
• Addressing benefit inquiries and managing claims.
• Administrative and Reporting Duties : The position entails performing data entry, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with government regulations such as ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, and ACA.
