A typical day as a seasonal, experienced tax professional means you'll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team. You'll provide advanced tax training to be successful. It would be even better if you also had a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA or enrolled agent certification, experience completing complex returns, and five or more years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax. You should also have experience conducting virtual tax interviews, tax planning, and audit support, as well as sales and / or marketing experience.

What you'll bring to the team includes conducting tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, generating business growth, increasing client retention, offering additional products and services, providing clients with IRS support, mentoring and supporting teammates, and successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment. You must also meet IRS and applicable state requirements and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
