Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned company, is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Burmese Speaking Speech Language Pathologist.
In this role, you will provide speech therapy evaluations to individuals who speak Burmese as their primary language. Y
This position is part time contract work nd offers a competitive rate of $700 per evaluation
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans
- Report at IEP meetings
- Educate patients and their families on effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Proficiency in speaking and understanding the Burmese language
- Prior experience in diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency in utilizing specialized technology and software related to speech-language pathology
