PC Board Designer

Job Responsibilities :

s a Senior Printed Circuit Board / Printed Wiring Board Designer you will have the primary responsibility of design of multi-function, RF / microwave microelectronic assemblies. You will also get to develop new PCB based products, from rough schematic to fully documented fabrication and assembly instructions. To be successful, you will interface with manufacturing to transition products into production, assisting in the resolution of manufacturing issues, and the generation and maintenance of all design and associated ECO documentation.

You are responsible for :

• Electro-mechanical design and optimization of multi-function RF / microwave PWB / PCB assemblies
• Using Printed Circuit Board layout tools (i.e., Cadence Allegro, Concept HDL) to generate detailed circuit board layouts (component placement and routing) from electrical schematics
• Utilizing CAD tools (i.e., AutoCAD® and SolidWorks®) to generate detailed circuit board prints and mechanical designs
• Managing Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint) for daily activities
• Using production control software to (i.e., Oracle) to control bill of materials and part lists
• Interfacing with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly Maintenance ECAD library
• Supporting preparation of documentation required for presentation at engineering design reviews, etc.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
• Supporting operations to transition newly developed products into full production
