Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting within the Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team Cares for pediatric to adult patient populations requiring vascular access Rotating day, evening, and night 12-hour shifts with start times at 7am, 11am, and 3pm Weekend shifts are required Uses ultrasound guidance and vein finder equipment for IV placement Charting handled using Epic EMR Responsibilities include performing IV placements and vascular access for pediatric and adult patients Open to first-time travelers Approved solid color scrubs required for all units Locals within 50 miles are accepted but at a different rate Level I trauma environment with Level III / IV NICU Free onsite parking for night shift; discounted parking and shuttle service available for other shifts Requirements Active MA RN license required Minimum of 2 years' experience on a pediatric vascular access team such as HemeOnc or ICU Proficiency in ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finding procedures Current BLS certification required Must have prior travel nursing experience Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629041.
