About the Role
This role is about supporting Aspire’s 0-1 growth in the U.S. by combining acquisition-focused marketing with community-led brand building.
Core Challenges
- On-the-ground GTM & community support : Drive strategy and delivery of in-person activations that generate leads, partnerships, and founder trust.
- Growth and brand building : Build Aspire’s authority among U.S. founders while translating awareness into measurable acquisition impact.
- Strategic collaboration with HQ : Partner with central marketing teams to amplify U.S. wins across content, web, lifecycle, and paid campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute U.S. marketing strategy to acquire founders in the Bay Area.Own the full marketing funnel, driving growth across all stages from awareness to conversion.Partner with global marketing to integrate local insights into acquisition, lifecycle, and product marketing campaigns.Continuously refine messaging and positioning with attention to detail and brand consistency.Brand Building & Community Growth
Establish Aspire’s brand presence in the Bay Area through in-person marketing, brand campaigns, and thought leadership.Grow and nurture the FoundersXchange community through targeted engagement and programming.Represent our ICP internally by maintaining a deep understanding of founder needs, challenges, and dynamics.Event Management & Thought Leadership
Plan and execute events, panels, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and lead generation.Capture content that showcases offline marketing momentum to our online audiences.Serve as a spokesperson and thought leader in Bay Area startup communities.Performance & Communication
Own reporting to measure impact and share progress for central team visibility.Apply creative, guerrilla marketing tactics to differentiate Aspire in this competitive market.Discover innovative growth opportunities through experimentation.Who You Are
Ecosystem native : Well-connected in the Bay Area startup scene, with strong founder / VC networks.Strategist + executor : Comfortable setting direction and rolling up your sleeves to deliver.Community builder : Experienced in events, partnerships, and guerilla brand building.Credible communicator : Outgoing, confident, and comfortable representing Aspire externally.5–8 years in startups or high-growth companies, with a blend of growth marketing and community expertise.The targeted base salary range for this role is $96,000–$160,000 .
