Are you outgoing, enthusiastic and love working with people? We are searching for a compassionate and energetic self-starter to become our new Admission Coordinator who can proudly share our patient care vision with prospective residents, families, community partners and referral sources.
The Admissions Coordinator will manage the facility's inquiry and admission process and provide customers with facility-related information.
Responsibilities and Purpose
- Primary contact for all telephone admission inquiries, walk-in admission inquiries and request for pre-admission facility tours.
- Directly responsible and accountable for the completion of all admission processes, forms and facility notification documentation.
- Coordination and regular communication with the Central Intake Team and other referral sources, ensuring a smooth patient discharge and admission experience.
Desired Experience and Education
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of senior healthcare services, specifically Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care.
- Experienced in customer service and developing relationships within the senior healthcare environment.
- Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and third party managed care payer sources.
- Business Development / Networking experience a plus.
