Primary Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled designer to join our Experience Design team. A successful candidate will influence product strategy, be a collaborative and eager contributor, execute with excellence, and lead product prototyping and UX design within the Offers & Coupons domain. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team, think holistically about design and change the current grocery landscape.
The Experience Design team has an effective partnership with Product Management and Development teams. We collaborate with engineers, product owners, brand clients and other executives throughout the product development lifecycle. The position requires a customer focus, a data-informed approach, and awareness of current practices for mobile and browser UX design.
Our flexible / hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Chicago, IL.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Applies user centered design methods to design elegant, simple and intuitive solutions that aligns business goals and user needs - specifically within the Offers & Coupons domain
- Advocates for the customer throughout the product lifecycle - ensuring their needs are central to design decisions
- Partners with User Research team and conducts remote user research to validate concepts and design decisions
- Collaborates, coordinates, and influences design peers to deliver a consistent and cohesive user experience across our digital platforms
- Bring a mobile-first mindset to cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
- Present work effectively to a range of audiences, from design teams to business stakeholders and executives, tailoring the level of detail appropriately
- Takes pride in producing clear deliverables including flows, wireframes, visual design, high-fidelity comps, and front-end annotations
- Documents expected transitions, animations and micro-interactions through prototypes as needed
- Delivers work that adheres to brand standards, WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines, internal design system and experience principles
- Partner with scrum teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended and help resolve unexpected challenges during development
- Champion continuous improvements to the customer experience by leveraging market analysis, customer feedback, usage analytics, stakeholder input, and design research insights
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in an ecommerce or digital agency as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar roleBachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experienceExperience working with User Research or conducting research, interpreting and applying findingsProficiency in design tools such as Figma, and understanding of front-end development technologiesExperience working in product operating model a plusPreferred Qualifications

This position is eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
Salary Range : $93,840- $140,760
