Job description

Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services,  health / recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Waialae Country Club is recognized as a Platinum Club of America, Honorable Mention Platinum Club of the World and is designated as a Distinguished Club with ELITE status by BoardRoom Magazine.

Position : Part-Time Host

Department : Food & Beverage

Reports to : Director of Food & Beverage / Food & Beverage Manager

Key Responsibilities :

  • Welcomes members and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assists with seating guests and providing menus.
  • Oversees online reservation system and assists with making reservations in-person, by phone, and by email.
  • Monitors and directs the flow of traffic in the dining room.
  • Responds to member and guest inquiries.
  • Assists with opening, closing, and side duties as needed.

Requirements :

  • Must have 1-3 months of related experience. Previous food and beverage service experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be available to work between 8 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
