Job Title : Financial Planning Paraplanner Apprenticeship

Hours : Full-Time Position

Pay : $60K-$65K plus bonus

Are you a graduate with a degree in Financial Planning ? Strittmatter Wealth Management Group (SWMG), an independent RIA, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Paraplanner for a career in our Advisor Apprenticeship Program .

The Advisor Apprenticeship program offers a pathway to success for individuals looking to become financial advisors. In this multi-year program, you will be trained through each step of becoming a successful advisor starting with the Paraplanner position. Job Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare financial plans and recommendations for financial planning clients
Participate in the investment research process and be part of the Investment Committee Team
Prepare for client meetings and reviews, including the preparation of reports, proposals and financial illustrations.
Take thorough notes during new client meetings
Use financial planning software to enter client data, create scenarios and reports
Complete client assumptions, asset recommendations and plan recommendation documents
Maintain effective working relationships with clients by assisting with their requests and account actions to completion
Maintain client records, CRM database, and compliance files
Request quotes for insurance
Interface with team members, custodians, and insurance companies
Track weekly results and turn into manager
Create and update processes and procedures weekly
Other assignments, as needed

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and with Adobe Acrobat

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently while embracing team collaboration

Highly organized

Displays exemplary professional communication skills, verbal and written

Must be professional, courteous, and dependable

Excellent client service skills

Ability to manage multiple projects at once with consistent follow-through Commitment to provide high-quality work both to internal and external partners

Ability to meet deadlines

Minimum 3 professional references required

Process driven and results oriented

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Job Details

Full Time Position with expected 40+ hours per week in Fort Worth office.

Salary and bonus - $60k plus bonus

Dress Code : Business Professional

Hours : Monday-Thursday : 8am-5pm & Friday : 8am-4pm
