JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assessing patient and family health problems and resources and taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcome evaluations of the plan of care provided by the nursing team. Duties also include providing direct nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional / developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Blessing Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process and Patient Safety Plan.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Training / Experience :

REQUIRED :

Graduate of an RN School of Nursing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ACLS, required at end of one year

PALS, required at end of two years

TNS or TNCC as invited

ECRN, required at end of one year

PREFERRED :

BSN

One (1) Year RN Experience

License / Certifications / Special Requirements :

Possesses current State RN license.

Pay Status :
