Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations at our senior living community in Edina, MN. This pivotal role oversees resident health and wellness, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages the nursing team to deliver exceptional care. The DON will be instrumental in shaping care strategies, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Oversight
• Direct and manage the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care in accordance with state / provincial regulations.
• Oversee care programs, staffing, compliance, and performance management.
• Clinical Excellence
• Conduct and document resident assessments, develop Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), and monitor outcomes.
• Provide or delegate hands-on clinical care based on resident needs.
• Collaboration & Coordination
• Partner with physicians, pharmacists, and other providers to coordinate care.
• Work closely with Neighborhood Coordinators to integrate wellness operations.
• Support the Sales team in evaluating potential residents for move-in suitability.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Serve as CLIA Director as required.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state / provincial, and nursing board standards.
• Continuous Improvement
• Lead initiatives in clinical process improvement, risk assessment, and staff development.
• Analyze clinical performance data to identify trends and drive improvements.
