Join Our Team as a CVOR Tech Surgical Services – Make an Impact in Your Surgical Career!

Are you an experienced CVOR Tech looking to elevate your career in a dynamic, high-volume surgical environment? We are seeking dedicated and skilled CVOR Techs to join our team, supporting complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgical equipment
  • Assist with intraoperative procedures, including pump line handling, cannulation, and patient positioning
  • Support surgical team during complex surgeries such as Aneurysm Repair, Valve Replacements, Heart & Lung Transplants, TAVR, endovascular repairs, and more
  • Ensure sterile technique and adherence to safety protocols
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, perfusionists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless surgical workflows

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Tech, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Proficiency in handling vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgical cases
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NBSTSA certification
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and operative procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with robotic-assisted cardiac surgeries
  • Familiarity with transcatheter and endovascular procedures such as TAVR and EVAR
  • Prior experience working in a vascular or thoracic surgery setting
  • Adaptability to rotating shifts and extended call hours

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of relevant surgical experience
  • Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar fast-paced surgical environment

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for 4x10 hour shifts (11:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
  • Ability to commit to 90-120 hours of call over a 6-week schedule
  • First-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience
  • Willingness to provide 2-3 days of interview availability upon application
  • Must hold current BLS and NBSTSA certifications
